I had surgery in January 08 and I have a Johnson and Johnson band and until the last month, I have had no resistance whatsoever. I stopped getting fills last year at 6 cc's(holds 9). I also have gained 15 lbs. Has anyone had leak problems with the J and J band or can anyone relate to this situation? I am worried there is a leak

Leaks are a possibility, but I wonder whether something else is at work.

When you say you have no resistance, does that mean you don't have restriction? And that's been for the last month only?

Has the weight gain you've experienced as a result been in the last month? What else has changed during that time? Was the loss of restriction gradual or abrupt?

Sorry to pepper you with so many questions!

In all likelihood, it's probably something more easily remedied than a like. You may simply need another fill---that need can arise even after a long period of good restriction.

In your shoes, I'd schedule an appointment with my surgeon.
