finally lost a few lbs.

but not in a good way :-( i can't eat. not because of a fill or even the band. I know this is sooooo off topic.. but my husband is going through "saturns return" some people call mid life crisis.. and is having doubts about his life and if he's happy.. sooo as a result. no eating for me... arrgh! wish i wasn't losing weight this way though.

dragonflylover...I'm not sure why His mid-life crisis would cause you not to eat.

yea, sorry was very vague. it's causing me so much pain, stress and anxiety that i can't eat. no appetite.

I'm not sure about you but I have lived most of my married life (32 yrs) trying to please my dh with so many things in our marriage; I'm just starting to find out who I am. Getting the LB has been for me, of course he can receive the fringe benefits , but it's for me. I messed up enough with my own issues and i refuse to let his control me anymore. If it were me I would try and be as supportive as I can, but not at the cost of losing ME. Stay strong and remember that we can't change people only ourselves.

thank you.. and your 100% correct.

I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. If that was my husband and he didn't snap out of it, I'd snap him out.

We all go through periods in our life when we wonder what life would've been like had we made other choices. We can either deal with it like the adults we are...or run to the other side of that fence where the grass looks greener (and rarely is).

Here's hoping your husband will soon realize that it's not greener.
