Not sure what to expect

hey everyone!! I joined the site because i just started the surgery process and have no one to talk to about it. my mother went thru gastric bypass about 7 years ago. im only 21 so i dont have any friends to really talk to about this and i have no friends who understand what im going thru. im not sure what to expect with all of this. hoping to have my surgery my august and i have my first intro class next week. so any advice or anything that you could give me would be much appriciated

    I'm only 9 days post-op, so I'm reluctant to dish out advice. BUT, I can tell you that forum is an AWESOME tool for learning about the process start to finish! :sad:
