Hi!

I had my surgery in July of 2009. I aslo had a hernia repair. Still today my left shoulder hurts. Does anyone else have this? Anything I can do to make it better? Thanks so much!!

Dont worry it will dissolve by itself. When they do a laproscopic surgery they use co2 to blow up the stomach to visualize the organs better. Then when they remove it, there is alwasy some gas that gets trapped and no gas x strips don't help..Wrong kind of gas. This is not bowel gas. Everyone gets that mixed up. The co2 gas travels to the highest spot which is ...you guessed it your shoulders....put a heating pad on it,,walk around...be patients..it is painfull but will go away in a few days...........
