I also had surgery on 1/27. I get to go to mushies on Wednesday. What are you planning on eating? I need some ideas.

Top of my List:

1 Whole Egg and 3 Egg white Omlettes with cheese

oatmeal with Protein added

Turkey Chili, Slightly blended

Cottage cheese with black pepper and cucumbers (very finely chopped)

Split Pea Soup and Tomato Soup

Mashed Sweet Potatoes & Non-Fat Sour Cream (skip the white ones)

vanilla Yogurt with A Scoop of Vanilla whey Protein

Fat Free Refried Beans mixed with Pace Picante sauce and a Little Fat Free sour cream

Fat Free chocolate pudding mixed with a scoop of Chocolate Whey powder

Congrats on getting cleared!!!

I was banded on the 27th as well, but I have to wait an additional week.

I see my doctor on Thursday, Feb 11, and hope to move to mush then. I bought a cookbook: Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery by Patt Levine and Michele Bontempo-Saray. There are many recipes I would never try, BUT each recipe has Serving Guidlelines for Lap Band mush and beyond; Bypass; and for all other people. So I can cook the same thing for both my husband and I.

Chicken Saute w/Mushrooms YUM! cannot wait!
