Feeling Sick at night

I was banded on 1-22-10 and for the last few days I get a sick feeling at night. It almost feels like I want to throw up but it never happens and I feel real bloated and my stomache hurts. I called the Dr. and they didn't think it was anything to worry about and told me to up my water and fiber.I also went back to a liquid diet today hoping it would help and the feeling still came. Does anyone else get a sick feeling at night? What do you do to ease the feeling? I'm hoping this is not how I am going to feel every night from now on..:(

Sorry to hear you've had a tough time of it. Nausea is a horrible feeling and I hate having it. That being said, I must confess that I have suffered all of my adult life (and most of my childhood) with extreme motion sickness. And although I have not experienced nausea in the evenings or nights with the Band, I have found in the past that having a cup of hot tea can frequently calm nausea. Another thing that might help is slowly sucking on a slice of fresh lemon.

I don't know if you've tried either of these, but I hope something helps you!
