Burp/Hiccup Sensation

Hello,

I had my surgery 4 days ago, and the first two days I was very nauseous and would heave up air. The next couple of days I wasn't nauseous anymore (they switched my meds and gave me an anti-nausea med) but I am still having these awful hiccup/burp surges that are very painful! I can't tell if I have to burp anymore, and the surges hurt so much. Has anyone else experienced this? Hopefully it doesn't last forever.

Oh I know you must be so uncomfortable! I didn't experience this, and I can only hope you find comfort soon. I am sure you will. Bodies do strange things after major surgery!

Good luck and hang in there!
