I think that is what I had to drink prior to my last colonoscopy. It will clean you right out.

That stuff is so bad!!! OMG!! I had to take it before a colonoscopy years ago. I feel for you. It tastes bad and ........

I did not have to do it before band surgery though. They gave me a suppository to use the night before surgery and said it way optional.

Knowing what I know about anatomy I think they're just trying to torture you, that stuff is NASTY!!! FYI, I had no bowel prep of any type pre-op, although, honestly, after 2 weeks of liquids and 36 hours clear liquids there wasn't much in there anyway. Good luck! It is so totally worth it but I feel for ya!
