Encouraging Words Needed

I was banded on June 19, 2009 and I lost 35lbs pretty quickly. 3 months ago I was up to 7cc's and got something stuck and had all but 1cc taken out to allow it to pass through.

Today I had a fill and am back up to 6.5cc's but I have not lost 1lb since I had all my fluid taken out. Partly it is my fault because I was upset I had to have everything taken out so I really was not exercising much. But, my inability to control my food addiction came right back when I had all that fluid taken out. I couldn't control my head hunger. That is when I realized that this band actually does DO A LOT!!!

I did start back to the gym last week and have been really consistent with going, and I am feeling really good. I am starting to feel a little restriction again which feels amazing and I am so excited to get back on the weight loss train again after an extended 3 month "vacation".

I guess I am telling you all this because it feels really good to be honest about what is happening to me and I am just hoping there are some people out there with words of encouragement, because Lord knows I could use them!! Thanks guys!!! :smile2:

Hi Breeane! I went through a little time off too. Well, okay more like a year's time off. I gained some but I'm losing again because I'm back to being a good bandster.

You can definitely get that feeling back that is so important to weight loss. I'm positive that once you set some goals in place, however small they may be at one time, you will find that flame grow inside again.
