catheter

I didn't know until after the surgery that they inserted a catheter. could be because my surgery also included a HH procedure and they thought it would take to long without one.

anyway, i've had problems since then.

feel the urge to go but having problems going. it's been 2 weeks and i'm still having issues. i've been to my urologist and he's helping with the problem.

did anyone else have a problem like this?

I don't think I had a catheter, but for the first few days after the surgery, I had to force myself to pee. Normally, when I use the restroom, once I sit down, the urine comes out without any prodding, but after I had the surgery, I had to push. After about 5 days, I no longer had that issue. I kind of figured it was due to the anesthesia as well as decreased fluid intake.
