New to this.

I had surgery on Dec 22, 2009 and this site has helped so much! This is my first posting. Lets see......4 weeks out and I am doing well.....am really trying to work through the mental part of all of this....don't get me wrong....I have tried for years! I do have a great support team, friends, a dietician and most importantly, my husband.....I work out 5 days a week (I have since 8 months before surgery) and I follow the rules to the 't'. My biggest fear is loosing my hair.... since it is so thin naturally. I look forward to learning from you guys and to having you with me on my journey.

Welcome, Cookie!! Don't worry too much about the hair loss thing. If it happens to you (and it might not), it probably won't be enough that anyone else will notice. And, after a while, it grows back anyway!

Glad to hear you are doing well and major props for all the working out!!

Best wishes,

Catherine
