Really bad head cold --what to take

I know that pill can be an issue so do any of you have any ideas? When I get these head colds they are killers as I have really bad sinus anyway. I know that it is not really a good thing to crush pills that are time released formulas but what else is there?

Thanks for your input.

I'd try the Mucinex D. The pills aren't too big, if I recall correctly. They help reduce the congestion in your head as well as with any that is in your chest.
