Hi! My name is Brigid and I am 34 years old. I was just banded on January 7th after a very long 5 month pre op surgical process! I am happy to finally have it done and look forward to re-gaining my life back! Hope to get to know y'all!

Thanks ash23! I hope everything goes well for you and that the date is set in stone for you real soon! I haven't been in ATX too long - just a couple of years. I came from Vegas so it is different! Hopefully I will be able to get out more real soon and enjoy what it has to offer! Im Amber and live in Austin as well. Im current in month 2 of my 6 month doctor led weight loss program. Im meeting with my surgeon on Jan 25th- im excited to meet with her! Im impatient and want to have my surgery NOW so I can get on with losing the weight!

I went through SouthWest Bariatric and my surgeon was Dr. Stephen Clark and he was wonderful. It doesn't even look like I will have much scarring either.
