I had my first fill yesterday. My dr used his hand found the port and stuck the needle in. It didn't even hurt, but knida made me sick for just sec. Went and took drink water and was out the door. I got 3cc put in 10 cc lapband. I didn't expect to feel anything on my first fill but I do. I feel comfortable restriction. I am suppost to eat only liquid for 48 hours. I hope this restriction lasts cause nI'm lovin it. How long does the restricion usually last???????

Oh yeah my stomach growls all the time but i'm not hungry does anyone else have this?

Yep, my stomach growls occasionally but I'm not hungry. I'm learning to just tell it to shut up and then ignore it.

Some people do have a temporary restriction after a fill, most likely due to temporary swelling. I never did.

I had my 1st fill on this past Monday...Today is Thursday and I still feel lots of restriction....I went to a support group meeting last night and weighed-in and I never, ever weigh at night...Against my norm....I weighed in and I was 2.6lbs down from my Monday morning weight.... I could not beleive it. I am seriously not hungary and have to remind myself...rather my growling stomach and the length of time between my meals has to remind me to eat...something...

another fill in four weeks how about you?

I have 14cc band.Tomorrow I have appointment to get 4 cc fill.Hope all goes well.This is my first as well.:thumbup:
