Liquids after fill

Does anyone know why we should have liquids after a fill. I am on my 7th fill (Let's hope this time is the sweet spot) and just found out I am supposed to be drinking liquids only for 2 days. Why is this?

Dunno...my doctor doesn't have any restrictions. If I can eat it, I can have it. Just use common sense.

Just as preop and postop diets vary by doctor so does the diet following a fill.
