Backsliding Bander

My Band was too tight, had it unfilled and over the last 5 months have gained 28 lbs back. It's either too tight or too loose. How often can I ask my doc to try again for a better fit? Support and words of wisdom needed!

In my Dr's office, you can get a fill every two weeks unless you have a problem or reach your sweet spot.

It sounds like they took out too much, you may need to go back to fills until you level out. Go for small fills, and adjust as necessary until you get the right level of restriction again.

I am curious to know how much the doc gives you each time? Sometimes adding 1/4-1/2 cc at a time is a good way to sneak up on your sweet spot.

I dislike the fact that your doc has made you feel guilty about getting your needs met. My doc has done me that way, too. I am always reluctant to go in because at one point the SOB had a temper tantrum, labeled me a band failure and vowed/threatened to remove my band. I think I hate him.
