Hi my name is Kerry Coulter, I have always been over weight for my height.  I had thought about doing the gastric bypass a few years ago but didn't think my insurance would approve it so I gave up.   Last year I messed up my back and was out of work for 2 weeks over time it got some what better, but part of my left calf was numb so my Doctor to sent me to phyical thearapy which, I don't think it really helped. I had pulled a muscle in my back so I went to go see my Doctor and asked what she thought about Lap Band, she gave me some names of Lap- Band Doctors in Great Falls MT, I wasn't sure my insurance would approve it, but I went in for my consult and with in a couple of days I had my approval!  my surgery date is for October 25th, I started the diet  where I just followed the UnJury diet for breakfast and lunch then ate a sensible meal for dinner just so it wouldn't be such a shock the 2 weeks before surgury.  I am on my third day on the strict diet so far so good :)  I have at this time lost 12 pounds since my consult appointment.  I am getting butterflies in my stomach thinking about my surgery, but excited at the same time!  I was told to join some support group so, here I am!!  :)
