no, i do them. How far post op are you? My port area was soar for a good 8 weeks.
  2. don't be.... weight fluctuates. Every now and then I'll be 3 pounds up but it disapears again pretty quickly. You could be retaining Water, getting your period, it all can affect your weight by a couple of pounds. I didn't get on a scale till 6 weeks past my surgery. I still don't own one. I weigh once a week at the gym sometimes more.

I cross mine a lot too... because, seriously, my entire adult life... I have never been able to. I've heard that too but not sure why it's not good for you.
  4. You'll be amazed at all the noises!!! But most of mine have gone away.
  5. Typically the only thing I eat for breakfast is greek yogurt because I can't get much down in the morning either. I have thought about experimenting with shakes but.... they just don't apeal to me. Although... I have not tried many.
  6. I should show you a picture of my arms.... Of course I was much much heavier than you and quite a bit older. They bother me more than anything. But... it's worth it.
  7. I'm 2 years and 2 months post op... I've drank 2 protien shakes (total) I don't like them and my dr. doesn't want me consuming ANY liquid calories because he says it doesn't fill you up (I don't know that I agree with that) Anyway... yesterday I had a total of 106g of protien, so I don't have a problem getting my protien. I also track everything on MyFittnessPal. It really helps!
  8. Yep... get back on the wagon, it can really snowball. So it happened, put it behind you and get back to what you know is right!
  9. Love those 10 pound marks. I plateaued at 300.4 for 6 weeks. Wanted to cry, as a matter of fact I did several times. I just could not get past 300.4 no matter how I ate or how much I exercised! It finally let go... then I cried again! Nice job... hope the 20's go that fast for you!
  10. Nice job - I got tired just reading it! Don't know that I will ever be a runner.
  11. yes... pretty normal, it should let up! Congrats and Good Luck!
  12. just a guess... but I'm gonna say a lot of us did! Just get back to it, you'll do GREAT!
  13. Well, according to MFP your net calories should include the exercise calories you burn. So if you are set for 1200 calories and you burn 500 in exercise you should eat 1700 calories. Not saying I agree or disagree but that is the way MFP suggest. I do not eat back all of my exercise calories.
  14. I don't have problems with either. Heck, yogurt can some times cause problems. It is all an individual thing. Also, both can be pealed, that would help a lot.
  15. Well, it has by no means been the easiest diet i've been on but it has definately been the most successful! We use tools every day to make out life easier. Cars, dishwashers, vacuume cleaners, computers and cell phones, in my opinion the lap band is no different and people who think it is the "easy way" are too ignorant on the subject for me to even care about!
  16. I have the lap-band brand and it is 10 cc my brother has lap-band brand 14 cc? Well, I was very heavy and the weight came off like gang busters at first! Miss those days. Weather that has anything to do with being very heavy or that I was dilligent about the rules... I don't know.
  17. LOL... sometimes don't you just wish you had never said it in the first place?
  18. Next time she drives somewhere you should suggest she walk instead of taking the easy way and driving her car!
  19. Make it work with what you got I guess. I mean obviously you eat a lot less, exercise more??? .1cc can make all the difference in the world tho once you are close to your "zone". My band is about half full, I don't forsee any further fills in my near future. I went 14 months between my last fill. Funny how different it is for each of us.
  20. Yup... just had a not so good 6 weeks. I didn't go to the gym one time (ususally do 7 - 9 hours a week) snacked, snacked and snacked. Started back at the gym this week and back to eating right and tracking my food (i didn't do this either and it makes a world of difference to me). Fortunately I was only up 1 pound. It has been a super busy summer, and I didn't eat horrible, just had some of those "extra" treats. I made the choice so I live with it and and back on the wagon. Don't beat yourself up, just get back on track!
  21. Yup.... you should start feeling better any day. After day 4 I felt amazing! Sorry for you pain - Best of luck!
  22. Sometimes you get stuck and it hurts and you produce a lot of slime and it can't go down so it has to come out. Vomiting will sometimes dislodge the stuck food and that will be the end of it. Sometimes getting suck isn't that painful (for me). It's more like getting to full or like if I eat bread it's not like it is stuck and it is painful, its more like it is plugging the hole and it gives you an uncomfortable "very full" feeling, slime and then just kind of burp it up and spit it out. It can hurt, really chew and take small bites and eat slowly. I can chew the heck out of things but if I eat it too fast or it is too big of bite it all can do the same thing. Unfortunately, it is the rare bandster that never has a stuck episode. Best of Luck!
  23. Ha... I'm going to definately try that crystal light thing.
  24. I have to do mushies for the rest of the day then back to normal. Yes, I think the stomach can swell.
