Well I am a type 1 diabetic and was referred for bariactric surgery by my diabeties doc. My surgeon had suggested gastric bypass....and up untill 2 weeks ago that was all I was prepared for...untill I learned more about the Lap-band. I was to scared to go through with something with so many complications and permanancy. So I changed my mind and here I am. I hope to do well and be able to almost eliminate my diabeties, sleep apnea, and PCOS, and get back to work and start a family!
