  1. I am on Lamictal (mood stabilizer) and celexa and trazadone (antidepressants). None caused me to gain weight. My docs want us to crush all meds and the only difference I see is that the trazadone crushed makes me fall asleep much quicker. Good luck.
  2. Follow your doctor's instructions. You have to let yourself heal.

  14. I weigh at the beginning of the week. If I don't have an appointment with my surgeon I go to my primary care doc's office and weigh there. If I do have an appointment later in the week then I weigh twice that week.

  16. Mushy foods are baby food consistency: mashed potatoes, soft scrambled eggs, etc. My doc allowed casseroles, chili, etc, after it had been put through the blender. You can eat baby food if you wish.

  18. Hoping it turns out well, Tess. I went back to see the doc and he put me on another antibiotic along with the current one. He told me that if it didn't clear up I would have to have the port removed. It is much better but still not completely healed and I finished both antibiotics on Friday. I am hoping it will be healed by the time I see him this Friday.

  20. My docs have their "rules class" which everyone MUST attend before you get a fill. They also quiz you over them.
