  2. Starting weight: 289.0 Goal weight: 269.8 Thanks so much Sarah!!!
  3. I am in again. My goal is 6 hours per week. Thanks so much for doing this Rebecca!!! You're awesome!!
  4. I have a good friend that is a Southwest pilot and another that is a flight attendant. With that said, I can confirm that their policies have changed. They are more accommodating and better prepared to handle different situations. We just flew in December and had a great flight with no issues.
  5. Thanks for doing this Sarah!! I absolutely LOVE these challenges and I think they are one of the best and most motivational things about this site!! My goal is going to be 274.8. Thanks!!
  6. I've been dropping shoe sizes as well. Most of my life I have been 9.5-10.0 and now I am around 8.5-9.0. It's so weird since the majority of my life I was skinny and when I gained a bunch of weight I never went up in size.
  7. I got in almost 10 hours of exercise this week even though I still have blisters on my heels and some toes. Oh well. As I like to say, "if it doesn't hurt then you're not doing it right". lol.
  8. Final weight is 289.0 which is 6 pounds below my goal for this challenge. Yay!! Thanks so much for doing this Sarah! You rock!! Look forward to the Easter Challenge!
  9. BTW I hit my goal a while back as I am now at 291.6.
  10. I'm in also. I love these challenges!!!
  11. Thanks for adding me. The more challenges and motivation the better.
  12. Since you have a Fit Bit do you want to participate in my Bariatric challenges on the app? If you do, add me as a friend and I will invite you if we have room. My email is Rebeccaabrooks86@hotmail.comI just sent the friend request. I can't do much this week bc I developed a deep blister under the callous on my heel.
  13. I got in 38.08 miles and 9 hours of exercise this week. LOVE my FitBit!!!
  14. Yay I hit my goal!! Now at 291.6. Thanks Sarah!!!
  15. I am down to 296.0 which is exactly 60 pounds lost since surgery on November 20th.
  16. I got in 5.5 hours of exercise this week. Really enjoyed hiking both yesterday and today.
  17. That is AWESOME news!!!! Congrats!!! Very proud of you!!
  18. Awesome!!! I got on the scale this morning and it said 206.2! Finally broke my 208-209 stall!!! Hey guys I'm feeling down because I've done 3 hours of exercise so far but my eating hasn't been the best and I got on the scale this morning and I went from 206.2 to 207.6 in need of support. I really need my eating to get back on track. Good news is I'm planning to hit up the gym today. I know how frustrating that can be, especially when you are putting in the exercise. It has happened to me a few times as well. Your gain could be due to food choices, but it can also be from Water retention, muscle growth, lack of bowel movements, etc. Just remember this is a lifelong journey and some weeks will be better and some weeks worse. Stay the course and you'll keep doing great!! I believe in you!
  19. Awww thanks. [emoji4] However, you are very determined and I think you could do it without me…though I doubt it would be as fun for either of us.
  20. We flew Southwest when we went to Mexico and needed seat belt extenders, but you have to ask for them. Also, with Southwest you can get an extra seat for free (if you feel you need it) when you check in at the airport, BUT we found it better to purchase an extra seat in advance (just to make sure the plane wasn't booked), and then when you get back home they will refund you for that extra seat. It is part of their "Customer of Size" policy...which is great! Not sure if other airlines do that or not. We always fly Southwest because we have a friend that is a flight attendant. Here is a link to that info: https://www.southwest.com/html/generated/help/faqs/extra_seat_policy_faq.html
  21. This speaks well of you, proof that you are a gentleman of fine breeding. Fine, I'll brag for you. Thank you. Haha.
