Three years...and starting over.
Hey TS you are not alone, I am at 1 year and 3 months out and I am starting over too. Don't be ashamed, we got this done in the first place because we do have a problem and it isn't easy. I lost 20lbs and then gained it back and then got pregnant so I am back at square one. My suggestion would be to start off brand new, like a brand new bandster. Change your profile, you do not need to put your banded date on there, thats no ones business. Make a new ticker and start from the beginning. Use this board as your support. Good luck to you, we all need it. There are others out there going through the same thing but they're just not posting. Good for you for coming back after so long!

In memory of Denyell
Peter, My thoughts are with you and your family during this horrible time. Thank you for thinking about the bandster community during your grief. Keep us posted.

canadian who have gone to mexico
The Dr in St Albert happens to be my fill Dr but he exclusively does Dr. Cobourn and Dr. Mumford's patients. Nobody elses. I just had this discussion with him and he told me his reasons which I agree with. I don't know of any other fill Dr's in the Edmonton area,

Coming back
Susan, I will join you in re-starting. I was banded in Feb 07 and I just had a baby, so I am back to square one in the weight loss game. I have to remind myself of all the band rules again. We can do this though. The band is there for us. I have a fill scheduled soon. Take care and lets keep in touch.

Pregnant and Banded...come join me!
I never thought about it but yes, maybe its the breastfeeding thats contributing to the tightness. I forgot what it feels like to get stuck on something! (chicken breast last night, didn't go away till this morning!) I have to remember the band rules again!

Pregnant and Banded...come join me!
Hi guys! i delivered my baby girl on Sat Apr 5. She is 7lbs 12oz. Her name is Aara and she is beautiful! We're both doing well. Ever since I delivered I am very tight, not unbearable but much tighter than before. Has anyone else experienced this? Its nice cause my weight is coming off fast, only 12lbs away from pre-preg! Cheers! Hope you're all well.

Pregnant and Banded...come join me!
Raynie-showers are supposed to be thrown for you! Hence you shouldn't have to pay for anything!! I think it doesn't matter what number baby it is either, this is number 2 for me and my girlfriends are throwing a shower for me in my house. I haven't started a registry but I also plan on babies r us. I went for my ultrasound today and the tech "thinks" its a girl!!! I was convinced it was a boy because 3 weeks ago when I had my last ultrasound the tech was "sure" it was a boy. Now I'm really confused. Of course i don't care what it is as long as its healthy!

Pregnant and Banded...come join me!
I am 27 weeks now and I wasn't anywhere near my goal before I got pregnant, but I'm okay with that. I know I will lose it after baby. I have gained about 20lbs so far. And yes Shy I threw up ALOT during my first trimester. I was worried about slippage but thank god nothing has happened. I'm just glad I'm near the end. I have another ultrsound tomorrow and I'm hoping to find out what the little one is!! It wouldn't show me during my previous ultrasounds. I'm so excited! I love that we now have our own link on here!!

Pregnant and Banded...come join me!
Hey guys, I thought I should post, I haven't been on LBT for a very long time. I too am pregnant, about 10 weeks now. I have been VERY nauseas, all day long. I'm hoping it will get better. I still have about a 4cc fill, which allows me to eat well, but not too much, not that I have felt like eating at all. I have been too sick and tired to be excited yet. I'm sorry if I sound depressed but I just want to feel better soon. Good luck to all of us "mom's to be". Thanks for starting this thread, I will keep posting.

Pre-op
Marcar, it's hard I know, I found myself stealing a bite here and there, don't beat yourself up, just get back on the wagon. Try treating yourself with something every 3 days you make it without cheating, like a massage or a manicure. You can do this diet, one last time.

People Magazine - 1/2 Their Size Issues
Because the band is not an "easy way out", there isn't anything easy about it in my opinion.

Argon's Activities
Mandi, I agree with Dame J! I just turned 30, I know I'm pretty and I feel pretty but I want the body that goes with it. I'm still young, thats why I chose to have surgery, I want to spend the rest of this time feeling awesome about the way I look. It's something I want for myself, it has nothing to do with what anybody else thinks. My husband has always told me I am beautiful, from the day he met me, I know he loves me for me. If I feel I want a tuck here, and an implant there, I deserve it, and so do you.

OMG yes! I tried that thinking it might help to push the stuck food through, yeah no.

Attention Albertans
So sorry, I can't make the 27th either. I am out of ton on conference that weekend. What about the Sunday after??

Get a first fill? I am content with 0 cc!
Jason, I personally would wait until your weight loss slow downs and then go for a fill. Being overfilled is horrible and if you are able to eat a wide variety of healthy foods now, I think you're in a good spot. Consider yourself lucky.
