  1. Welcome and congrats on your new adventure!!! I was banded Oct 4th from the moment I woke up after surgery I had excruciating pain in my shoulders and neck area but no kind of abdominal pain at all. It was gas that was trapped. I was told Peppermint Tea would help with the gas pain so I was a Peppermint Drinking Fool for days!! It did seem to help though. I also felt so bloated that I cold not sleep lying down, It felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest. That lasted about 4 days. Now I'm 15 days in and I'm feeling pretty normal again. You'll be past this weird gassy stage before you know it.
  2. Hello all, I was banded on Oct 4th and I am very excited to be on this journey with y'all. Although I do have to admit week 1 was HELL week!!! I am prepared for ups and downs but looking foward to a healthy me!!! :cursing:
  3. I love Hummus but I would be missing the Pita terribly!!! I cant eat veggies yet. What did you eat it with during yur "mushies" stage?
  4. Girl, just jump back on!!! I'm sure we will ALL fall off a time or two (maybe more) Keep pushing foward...you'll be fine!!!
