  1. I am going to try the Atkins Lift Lemon, and if it isn't lemon enough, I will add a little Crystal Lite lemonade mix to it.
  2. Sounds like it could be a stall. Do you have a follow up with the NUT or surgeon?
  3. I am going to start mine on the 23rd. I am not too happy about it but . . . Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Since I attempted WLS once before, I can say days 2-4/5 were the worst. Once you get past that, it was smooth sailing for me. It's hard, but when the scale shows you've lost 10-15 pounds in 7 days, it ends up being not too bad.
  4. Both normal feelings. Stay strong!! #YouGotThis!!
  5. I am two weeks. Starts next Tuesday 6-22.
  6. Did it go better after they fixed it? Sent from my VS986 using the BariatricPal App The procedure was aborted after 3 incisions. So there was no complete surgery that day, but I am set for my 2nd attempt on 7-6-16.
  7. Took about 2-3 weeks for most/all to fall off. At my 2nd go around, I've requested the surgeon use staples to close the wounds, as I had one of my incisions open at my 1st attempt.
  8. Best of luck to you @@Janiegirl1!! At my first failed attempt (complication arose during procedure with proper inflation of the abdomen), the hour or so felt like the blink of an eye.
  9. Varies by surgeon, insurance carrier, and how many, and how quickly you can get prerequisite testing done. From my readings those without the 6 month insurance pre-op diet requirement are from 2-4 months.
  10. Really depends on your insurance plan. Hard for any of us to answer here.
  11. I start my pre-op diet the 22nd also.
  12. Good stuff everyone!!
  13. For me I am bringing my, phone, iPad, chargers. Change of comfy clothing. Might bring my own pillow. That's all for now, unless I think of something else.
  14. I mentioned it earlier; You tell, great! You don't tell, great!
  15. Thank you @@KMA0910!! Why has it been so long if you don't mind me asking? Sent from my SM-N920V using the BariatricPal App I started in winter 2014 with 1 surgeon but in summer 2015, I didn't think we were on the same page any longer. So I went to another surgeon and in Nov 2015 attempted VSG, but it had to be aborted after 3 incisions were put in me. They had issues keeping me inflated enough to operate safely. So I allowed myself to heal and continue to lose weight since November, and am now making my 2nd go at VSG surgery. My last sleeve operation was aborted after they put 3 incisions in me. They had to abort the surgery, so I never got the sleeve done.
  16. Even with my 2nd go at it, I'm still nervous! If I wasn't I'd be concerned.
  17. Best of luck for a smooth journey!
  18. Best of luck to you @@Going2lose!!
  19. You got this @Hazyelzay!! It will be an adjustment, but you will conquer it!
  20. After 2+ years, 241 pounds lost, and a failed WLS VSG, I will attempt my second go at weight loss surgery VSG; https://www.facebook.com/OdysseyOfAStoutMan/photos/a.486137994869340.1073741828.485792314903908/622708077878997/?type=3 It's been a long time coming. 27 days and counting now.

  22. It is really simple as the following; You tell, great! You don't tell, great! All the other bickering is just hot air.
  23. Mine is not a secret. I've been very public about my weight loss journey and the support has been amazing!!!
