I finally figured I had to do something about my weight after a trip to Knott's Berry Farm and not being able to fit into the rides. My mom told me that a friend of the family had Lap-Band surgery and that is what sparked my interest. When I got home, I went to the Lap-Band website to get more information. I went to an information session and the next day I met with the bariatric nurse to start my Lap-Band journey.
