  1. I never told my mother or daughter until after I came out of the hospital. It's my body and I have to look at it everyday...I have to take my clothes off and be happy with what I see. I gave them literature on the lap band and I also showed them my tiny scars. After they saw that I was moving around...they were ok. I hope things get better for you, Lashonda23. Keep up the good work!!

  4. I am so glad I don't feel alone!! I have always had lots of gas issues, but I was banded on 6/7/10 and the gas has elevated!! I am curious as to why this occurs. I don't drink carbonated sodas either!!
