Today is my second day on my all liquid diet. Saw the doc yesterday and he said everything is perfect. My sister in law had her baby this morning. 9lbs 7oz all natural! CRAZY...but that baby is such an Angel. Love her to pieces already! Im struggling with this liquid diet... I keep telling myself its just 3 more days now but I come from a family of BIG eaters everything is surrounded by whats to eat and when are we eating again and whats for dinner while stuffing your face with lunch. My husband keeps asking permission to eat because he doesnt want to eat around me.... and im HUNGRY....*sigh* but I will remain strong and stick to it....the process is worth the outcome in the end.... as someone else said.... one day we will all laugh about this in our bikini's! :thumbup:

I will be there with you both on Monday also. I will keep you all in my mind. I start the Liquid diet tomorrow....:smile2: shall be interesting to see how this goes. Went to my family doctor today for the clearance for surgery. One more doctors appointment with my Surgions Assistant in the morning. Look forward to hearing everyone is done with surgery and recovering well! ~Anny

Hello! I would LOVE a buddy or 2 or 3 or 100! Hehe. My name is Adrianne most call me Anny. I am 32 years old from Western NY between Rochester and Buffalo. My lap band surgery is in 2 weeks from today!! (06-28-2010) Im scared and excited and nervious and happy and any other emotion you could place with such a life change!! I am the mother of one. My Son just turned 15 years old!! Im excited to meet new people and share in my journey!!

I start my liquid diet June 22nd and my surgery is June 28th. I had an upper GI 3 days ago to make sure all my insides are okay. That was quicker and easyer than I had thought it would be. Im nervious but so excited. I know that this will be the best life change I could make for myself and my family. I am aware the journey will be long and I'll have my ups and downs but am up for the challange and looking forward to the possitive rewards to come!! I wish all of you June Bandsters the best Surgery ever. May it go quickly without flaw and may you heal well and happy!

Hello! Im a Newbie also... My doctor has instructed me to start the Protein shake diet 5 days preop. Which will be Next Tuesday (06-22-2010) I use to drink Slim Fast shakes when I dieted in the past and they dont bother me a bit so im not too worried about it. My brain just cant wrap around ''no solid food'' for 5 days. Trust me I'll post how it goes! Surgery - 06-28-2010 Wish me luck!
