BCBS was awesome for me!! i gave them a 3 page typed history of all my weight loss atempts over the course of my life . and made copies of my weight loss attempts at Drs offices as well. I was approved within 2 days of sending them my info.

He is the Best!!! trust in him , he is awesome!!

im on the other coast and love my surgeon and the hospital . Dr paul wizman in margate Florida and wellington. he has devoted his life to weight loss surgery and has done 1,000's of surgeries. hope this helps. Jennifer

I was Banded on 8/17/10 and have had absolutely no hair loss , in fact my hair is super healthy! Hair loss is usually a concern of sleeve and bi-pass patients.

All my patients said something at the 70 lb mark ...they were blown away!!! see sometimes people wait until its a big amount to say anyrthing.

Well luckily ive had good luck eating salads , and i love them . My portion control is about a cup max....im restricted good.

thats good if it works for you , personally id rather see my surgeon and his staff for fills

I work in the Dental field and Drs are often trained in continuing ed that if they call personally for "bigger" procedures , the patient is less likely to fail their appt. All my surgeons patients have his cell number to call him anytime after surgery

wait a minute here, Your Dr doesn't do the fills at his office??? we can either see him or fis nurse to do the fills . He sub contracts out his fills?

Hello, There are many times i get frustrated as well. A few things i have learned along the way are 1. you don't always lose weight ,but may lose inches 2. you can and do plateau 3. Your stomache is the size of a egg now so eat according to that size. Protein first! 4. its a long journey and takes a year and a half for lapbanders to catch up with bypass patients. hope this helps, Jennifer

Not only do i have hypothyroidism, i have hoshimotos disease, its been hard !! ive had my dose upped once since losing weight. my symptoms would be a pressure headache and feeling like im walking sideways...off balance. Oh and i switched recently from my endocrynologist to my primary care for treatment. My primary gives me synthroid not the generic. He feels thyroid meds are like heart medication...you only should get the real deal.
