I first had weightloss surgery in 2006, when I had lap band surgery. I weighed 285 lbs before my surgery. Over the years, I started having more and more problems with my lap band. Eventually, I had to get all of the liquid taken out of my band. I am now weighing 250 lbs again. However, because my lap band had issues and was constantly slipping, my insurance approved a revision surgery to get my lap band taken out and revise to the gastric sleeve.
