Well, I am going on buisness so the company is paying for the flight, I can't afford to buy another ticket, and I'm sure I don't want to say anything to them and suggest the idea!! I am flying US airways. I am also more "bottom Heavy". I wear a size 30- no where near a 16!! I am tall, so I hide it a little better than most, but I am sooo worried!!!!!!!!!:phanvan

I read all about how everyone will PB if eat too much ect. I haven't had a fill yet... but get this. Ate something and was so nauseated I resorted to sticking my finger down my throat an making myself puke. Guess what... Cant puke! What does that mean? I needed to bad and had just ate the food... but couldn't bring up anything. Now I am worried band not in the right place or something. What do you guys think???:guess Turner24

I looked up the seat dimensions on the flight I am taking in December. They are 17.5" wide!:faint: Who fits into that!???????? I am really nervous about being stopped and asked to buy an additional seat:paranoid . I hope and pray that doesn't happen to me.... I would die:cry . I have been checking the seat chart online and so far there is no one between me and the person in the window seat:clap2: . Please send up a prayer for me. Okay, I know you guys are the only one's in the world who would understand this!:phanvan I have to fly US airways for buisness Dec 10th and return Dec 15th. With all the news on charging for 2 seats for heavy passengers I am terrified! My company paid for the flight and I couldn't imagine the embarassment if they asked me to pay for 2 seats!! :confused: Has anyone flown lately? Any problems? Thanks for the help! Turner24

Okay, I guess we all have our reasons. I am a certified emotional eater!:huytsao And trust me; I'm emotional! I too am usually good all day, but when I put the kids to bed and turn on the TV.... Look out! I think about all my worries :faint: and then I eat. Anything. Even things I don't really like just to eat! It has been much better post band. Cause even when I eat a cookie, its just one! not the bag. I want everyone to know we are so in this together and I appreciate being able to come and bear my soul with the rest of you:nervous . I have had my 1st cola since surgery 10/30/06. Felt fine, anyone loosing and still drinking diet soda? They said it could stretch your stomach, but friend of mine lost 85lb so far(post band) and always drinks diet pop. Nurse Teresa, My credit sucks too! I used my mom to co-borrow w/me. Maybe someone in your family would co-borrow w/you? Something to think about. This is something to better your health for life! Family will be more apt to help than for something like a car. Yes, MRH is middletown regional hospital. Where do you work? I am also a nurse and work at united healthcare. Even working for an insurance company I couldn't get this covered!!!!! I have only had the band for 14 days. I hope I have lost some when I go for post op appt Wed. I feel like I am definately ready for a fill. I hope I can schedule one soon. I'll be praying for you! Turner24

I too am from Cincinnati! I had my lap band done 10/30/06 by Dr. Schofield at MRH. Went well and I like her. Have 2 week post op apt on 11/15/06. Have just progressed to Soups and mushy foods. :hungry: Everything seemingly fine. Would love to be someone's e-mail buddy for support if anyone interested:) . Hope all goes well. I have not stepped on a scale since pre-op appt. Starting wt 388lbs. Best of luck to you! Pam

:help: Banded 10/30/06 1st week liquids 2cnd week mushy I am able to eat too much I think:omg: . I had a cup of Soup and some crackers well chewed and drank a small apple juice. I thought I wasn't supposed to be able to eat more than 1/2 cup. Could I need a fill at only 2 weeks post op?? How do I know I need a fill? Pam:confused:
