i used care credit to get my daughters teeth aligned not braces but something else. they seem to me to be a really good company and haven't given me any problems.

i will be getting the Lap band probably the 10cc depending on what size my stomach is......

This is kind of an eeeww subject but i was wondering since they give you a catheter during surgery or after will being on your period change that??? sorry for being gross just thought i would ask those who have had their surgery already...

I use Isopure you can buy it at GNC it has about 40g of protein and fills me up...but everyone is different you may wanna experiment with different kinds...

I have been reading posts where people have had hernia repairs during lab band surgery and was wondering if you could have one (a hernia) and not know it...I am self pay and don't think i have one but would hate to find out that i did and would have to pay more for my surgery out of pocket then needed.

Wow Lauren your lucky that you only have to do a 1 week pre-op i was supposed to do a 2 week put choose to start 1 week early feeling really good right now!! whoot whoot!

I'm not banded yet but i would never even consider the bypass to risky and my kids need a mom for a long time that's why i am choosing the band. so what if i have a foreign object in my body i already have an IUD and rods in my back what harm would another one do...Good Luck All!!!

So is it considered a clear liquid or not??? it's clear when not stirred but cloudy after you stir it so can it be eaten during the "Clear Liquid" phase of post-op?? i luv miso and so easy to make would luv the answer....

Try drinking more protein drinks you can put ispure in crystal lite havent tried it yet but shouldnt be bad.. just supplement for now and increase your food if you can 250 cal is really low...

Just keep your eyes on the prize and the days will fly bye...Food has been my BFF for years and i have been doing my pre-op for 15 days now and have to remind myself that I am doing this for a reason and soon enough the 26th will be here and then the real life style change begins. I too am drinking Isopure i luv it!! havent lost weight in the past 14 days but that's ok as long as i am shrinking my liver i'm fine with it good luck again...

Oh My Goodness only 10 that's right 10 more days till I enter Bandland!! I cant believe time is flying so fast! I am super excited, yet nervous at the same time not scared but nervous. I know everything is going to be fine just not looking forward to the post op pain that people talk about, I am only taking 4 days off that's all I could afford so I hope I'll bounce back quickly..Good luck to all the other Aug 26'ers out there may we all have wonderful success!!!!
