  1. I want to give you guys an update. So I have been logging everything I eat and I also started working out again. Just wanted to share that. I will keep you posted!

  3. First and foremost I want to thank everyone for your replies. It has given me a lot to think about. I have taken a little bit from everyone. I have decided to start fresh as if I just got out of surgery and also embrace the fact that this is definitely a lifestyle change and not a quick fix. Again thank you!....I will keep you guys posted.
  4. Here is my story briefly...I was banded on August 25, 2010 and thus far I have lost 40 lbs and I feel like a total failure. Now I do have restriction but I am able to eat whatever I want just not as much as I would have before lapband. I really really do not want to give up. I need some guidance....Please help!!

  7. Hello Everyone. So I was banded on Aug. 25th I went in at 282 lbs. At my last doctor's visit on Sept. 13th I was at 262 lbs. I have my first fill scheduled for Oct. 7th. I want to reach a goal of 230 lbs by Nov 12th. Do you guys think its possible?

  9. One I don't use pot. Two I only do hookah once in a blue moon and not in public places! @ Elcee I am perfectly healthy I am just overweight. I did WLS to lose the weight and avoid getting any medical problems. If I were smoking hookah on the regular than I would say maybe there's a problem but its not the case.
  10. Yea its definitely not everyday! But jeez I have a very active social life. I can't drink yet. So I will puff puff on some hookah! :blushing:)

  15. Congrats to everyone on their weightloss success! I was banded on aug. 25th and I lost 21 lbs so far!
  16. Well I must report that I have lost 13 lbs since I was banded on Aug 25th. The hardest part has been getting thru liquid diet stage. But now I'm on stage 2 pureed diet. Congrats to all who have been banded. Good luck in this new journey!
