i guess its hard for some people to except they have not had the same great results as others have, as for me its been pretty slow but i have still lost some weight, even thou its very hard for me to eat healthy food because it comes right back out...i can eat all the junk food in the world with no problem at all...thats where self control comes in i have a long way to go but i am confident that i will reach my goal ONE DAY !! hello i sad to say your story is just like mine, but i have a lot more weight to loose than you, yes the band does not work for all, i totally agree with you, i was also self pay, but i would not have any more surgeries for weight loss at all, even though i have had a slow weight loss with this darn band i am going to make it work for me even if it takes me 10 times more time to get to my goal, for me it has been very difficult to eat good food wen all that went down was junk food, i wish you the best in any future surgeries and with your weight loss....kisses

Hi there, yes the BAND does not work the same for everyone i am also proof of that, i had mine since 2007 ...yes tree years and i have lost 48 or so pounds hahahhaa i thought that by this point i would be a size 0 ...........Not......But i refuse to give up i will continue my diet and exercise until the day i acan say just like alot of other people here ....i did it i lost 100 pounds whooo hoooo !! Hope its before i hit 60 :biggrin: ................Dont give up you are not alone im sure there is plenty more like me and you but alot of them dont come forward with there slow weight loss band stories......have a ozome day ...kisses
