  1. Richard, I actually laughed out loud!!!! You are too funny.
  2. Audree, I think the 1 cup thing isn't necessarily for everyone. It just works well for me. Otherwise I want to clean my plate. On the goal weight, mine is not permanent either. When I get there, I will decide if I am happy or not. According to my BMI, it is a good goal, but I just won't know until I get there. And I will be there this summer!!!!!!!!! I WILL BE THERE THIS SUMMER. < this is for me. :-)
  3. I try not to eat more than a cup. I measured my chinese food and a cup is too much. When I don't have my food in tupperware, I just try to eyeball it.
  4. I think it would be nice for both of you if she went with you. lisah25, Dr. K is in Colorado. That is why he is asking this.
  5. Richard, Where do you get the Green Bay from? Am I missing something?
  6. I am right there with you all. I am cold all the time. I have never in my life been cold like this. I have lost weight many times before and never experienced this. I am not complaining at all!! I love it. I like bundling up much more than sweating like a pig. lol
  7. Your doc may not require one, but it would certainly benefit you to lose a few prior to surgery. As Kat said earlier, it will help you with the liquid phase right after surgery. Good luck to you!!!!!!
  8. tann, I make sugar free/fat free pudding with skim milk. I keep it around all the time. It is really good and a great treat. Plus it isn't "cheating" at all. I like the vanilla the best. The chocolate had too much of an after taste.
  9. Susan, I know it is hard. I don't diet. I eat healthy most of the time, but I eat what I want. I just eat a whole lot less. I ordered Chinese food Saturday night. I didn't measure the amount I ate and apparantly ate too much. Some of it came back up. I put the rest up and ate it for two more meals. I measured then. lol. It is such a learning process. Anyway, my point is I measure what I eat more than anything else. I might lose slower this way, but I am happy along the way.
  10. Susan, You are doing great. It is hard in the beginning because you don't have much restriction. Hang in there. When you get a fill or two, you will be on your way.
  11. You are doing awesome, Audree. Keep it up. You encourage so many others!!!!!
  12. Good for you Mourning. Working out really makes me feel better. I am proud of you!!!
  13. How exciting, Susan. That is too cool!!!!!!!
  14. Yes, we will miss you, Shirley. I hope everything works out wonderfully tomorrow. When you are up to it, let us know how you are doing.
  15. When I get rid of my 9 jugs of protein, I am going to try the Muscle Milk Light. It sounds good.
  16. My first food after the liquid phase was tuna salad. It was soooooo good. I think I am a success story. I have lost 48 pounds in just over 3 months. I am very happy. Of course I will be happier when more comes off, but it will. It will because I work WITH the band. Good luck to you!!!!!!! You will do fine.
  17. Good morning everyone. I am sure glad it is Friday. I did the spin class again on Wednesday but didn't get to exercise yesterday. I met with some other bandsters at Jason's Deli in Denton, TX. It was great meeting others that are banded. I will definately get to the gym tonight, though. I can't get out of the habit. I hope everyone has a great day!!!!
  18. Cindy, we are going to leave it at the same place for now. It was very nice to meet other bandsters. We had a great time. See you next month!!
  19. Puddin, You look amazing!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Bandida, you are doing great. Hang in there. Each day gets better, I promise.
  21. I am on my way Richard. I work in Dallas, so it will take me a while with the traffic. See ya soon!!!!!!!!!!
  22. I live right off 407 which divides Highland Village and Flower Mound. I love it there. I have only lived out there 2.5 yrs now.
  23. Can you keep the soup down without the crackers? I can't do crackers, tortillas, or bread. When I throw up my food, I stay on liquids for a while. At least a meal or two. I hope it gets better for you.
  24. I have such a hard time eating slow. Why is that so hard to learn?!@
  25. I can eat anything except bread. Pizza is fine if I eat the thin crust. It is very individual as posted earlier. For now, I choose not to be so restricted that I can't hardly eat anything. I know some need it that way, but I am going to try it longer without such restriction. Good luck to you.
