  1. So how far out from surgery are you ladies? I'm 8 months out. The burping has gotten stronger for more as my fill level has gone up.
  2. Since my last fill I've noticed some of my pain is from all this air/gas or whatever it is in my esophagus. When I swallow it's like the food is pressing against the air and it's uncomfortable until I burp. Is that normal?
  3. Called my doc today and he thinks my pill did get stuck on Sunday and it irritated my band. He put me on liquids for the next few days and then I get to slowly add solids back.
  4. The spray tan is the Betadine they use to clean your stomach first. Glad to hear your doing well. Congratulations!!
  5. After my fill I did liquids for 24 hours then mushies for the next 24 and then solids. That's how my doc does things. I haven't called him about the pain yet because, and yes I know this is stupid, I'm afraid he'll want to unfill me and he'll take out too much. He already thinks I don't need to lose much more weight as it is.
  6. I'm so confused:( I got a .2 cc fill last Tuesday. I did great until Sunday and something got partially stuck- It happened after taking my medications so I'm assuming it was one of my pills. Anyway I threw up everything I ate and drink for about 4 hours and then suddenly everything was fine and I was able to eat again. For the past 2 days I've been fine with no vomiting but everything I eat hurts when it goes down. What gives? I can't even tell when I'm full anymore because everything hurts. Should I go back to liquids for a few days and then slowly advance to solids and see if that helps? Is the pain because I'm too tight or just because I'm swollen or not chewing enough? I eat a little, have pain, stop eating, then bam 2 hours later my stomach's growling and I'm starving again. But If I eat then I have pain everytime I swallow my food so I just stop. Now I'm just discouraged:(
  7. I'm having the same problem. Everything I eat is painful lately:(
  8. I'm not sure. I guess I'm going to make an appointment and find out. At least now when I sweat people don't think it's because I'm just fat, you know?
  9. it has not helped my sweating issue at all:( I sweat like crazy, especially my face and scalp. My dermatologist said it's a condition called Hyperhidrosis. He said Botox can be effective in treating it. Have any of you dealt with this or found anything to help it?
  10. I remember you also. Congratulations on the baby boy and the weight:) So excited and happy for you:)
  11. I guess maybe one of my pills was stuck and I just didn't realize it. I started drinking warm tea and by the third cup I was feeling much better and everything I drink goes down just fine now. I've never had that happen before, ever.
  12. I'm hungry so I just tried a few spoonfuls of chicken and stars Soup. I stayed away from the chicken and just ate the mushy stuff-pasta and carrots. After 5 bites I got that stuck pain in my chest and it all came back up:( I'm going to try some liquid Motrin and make some warm tea and see how that goes.
  13. Liquids in= liquids out so the diarrhea is normal. Try taking a sitz bath or using some sort of diaper rash cream for the soreness.
  14. On Tuesday I got a tiny fill of .2 cc's. I stayed on liquids and then mushies and then on Friday I tried real food. I had no problems. Yesterday I ate real food and even ate out at supper with no problems. This morning I drank my coffee and took my meds- 9 pills total- no problem. Then at noon I tried to eat some Greek Yogurt. I ate it slowly. It took almost 40 minutes to finish it and it got stuck. I threw it up. Now when I drink I can feel my liquids trickling down and If I take a big drink rather than a sip it feels like it's going to come back up. I burp a lot and then it will finally go down. What's the deal? I swallowed my pills this morning with no issues so what's going on now? Is it possible I irritated my band by swallowing the pills? They were all small except for 2 and those 2 were gelcaps.
  15. My tubes were tied when I had mine done so no birth control to worry with. I didn't have to do the shots though.
  16. Well as for weight loss your doing awesome! I do hope you get to feeling better though and nothing is wrong with your band.
  17. Honestly I had surgery on Friday and was fine by Sunday. I never even used my pain meds at all. I hope you feel better soon.
  18. I'm sorry. I can definitely understand your fears. I cannot imagine being without my band now. Have you thought about a sleeve revision?
  19. I had no idea soda would help that. Thanks for the tip! I hope your feeling better today Mandy!
  20. It is awesome isn't it? It's a great feeling!
  21. I want a hamburger so bad! I can't eat bread anymore and that's fine. I can still have a patty with veggies but I dont know how to make one that is good and moist. The last time I made them I used 80/20 ground beef and pan fried them. They were so dry I couldn't eat them. Any tips for me?
  22. Aw I'm sorry:( hopefully your next appointment will be better.
  23. Well I think it's a great idea and you can definitely reach your goal!
