  1. This is the MOST inspirational post I have seen on this site to date. It has inspired me to get up and go. Thank you so much!!! It's quotes like yours that reminds me why I joined this site. You should do a daily blog. Thanks so much.
  2. Hi Dona, keep up the good work with the Boost. It gets easier. I had my surgery on the 2nd of Dec.
  3. I'm dealing with the same problem. I'm four weeks post-op. I thought I had it all figured out, I guess I don't. I thought that having this surgery was going to be the answer to my sugar addiction, and emotional eating, I thought it would help me control it. Having very little band resisitance the feeling of fullness is not there yet, granted I'm not eating anywhere near what I did before but the guilt is still overwhelming. On a positive note...I went and bought myself an ipod today and a pass to an indoor walking track, so at least now I can get some exercise without freezing to death outside. Forums like this will help us, we can all support each other. We've all been in the same place.
  4. I was also banded on Dec 2nd. Was doing great until the holidays, gotta get back to the program.
  5. I think it's because of the anesthesia and iv. There is swelling after the surgery also.
  6. I've been having guilty moments also, it's harder than i thought it would be. Hopefully after my first fill I won't feel like picking anymore.
  7. I was banded on Dec 2nd 2009. I lost 20 pounds prior to surgery on Boost, then another 8 pounds in the weeks after surgery, Since the holidays hit I have been having a terrible time staying away for all the foods that got me in this place to begin with. I have gained back 5 pounds!! I only go for my first fill on Jan 11th 2010. Am I the only one with this problem?? I feel so guilty, like a failure and I've barely started.:tt2:

  9. I was so happy to read your post, you make total sense.
  10. Hi, I'm glad I'm not the only one. My problem is that I only had surgery on Dec 2nd, I lost 20 ponds prior to surgery on Boost, and 8 ponds since. I gained back 5 since the holidays. I'm so upset, I'm scared that my old habits are creeping back up on me. I threw out all of the holiday "garbage" food that was in the house, and am hoping that tomorrow is a new day and the will power will return.
