  2. Nope, you're exactly correct, those are whole grains. Here's a link http://www.choosemyplate.gov/food-groups/grains-tips.html from choose my plate that lists whole grains and their benefits. For me, they aren't forbidden, just second to protein and in moderation.

  9. I can't make this better for you, just know that you have every right in the world to be mad and feel like your body has betrayed you. While my story isn't nearly as traumatic as yours I am also a failed band. Mine prolapsed and I had to have emergency removal, once inside he found I had started to erode as well. I was supposed to revise to RNY but once he was in and saw how much damage I had he felt it unwise to do the revision at that time (I did get a revision 6 months later). For weeks I was an emotional wreck. I was mad at my body, felt totally betrayed by it. Talk it out, cry it out, scream it out....what you're feeling is completely normal.
