- Esophageal Dilation with prolapse
Just keep In mind reflux is a fairly common side effect from the sleeve. My reflux with the band was so freaking bad I wasn't willing to risk it worsening, that stuff is MISERABLE!!!! (Good luck)- Fabulous February Post-Op's

My heating pad has been my best friend! In fact I just put it in a drawer tonight and I'm 25 days post-op. HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 231.4- when do you start losing?
I weighed a week post-op and I had lost 3 pounds...that seems to be my standard so far, about 3 a week.but I'm new too.... HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 231.4- Fabulous February Post-Op's

Ewwww....feel well soon!!! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 231.4- Band removed and bypass sane day?
- Dilemma- Cupcake gig
If it were me....and I had some semblance of self control...I would do it. A taste is not going to hurt you....if a taste has the potential to turn into a binge and put you in danger of hurting your fresh baby pouch then it's not worth it....or if a taste has the potential to derail you then probably not worth it. I look at it as everything in moderation. I will not avoid cake for life...I'm hoping my new tummy will allow me to take 3 or 4 bites and be satisfied instead or eating half the cake. HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 231.4- Toothdoc's Journey
I had a revision from band 2/11...so far I haven't felt hungry. By day 7 with the band I was ravenous!!! (If I get queasy it means i waited too long to eat so basically every 2-3 hours I have a little something so I don't get queasy). I haven't really felt full but after 4-5 bites but just don't feel like eating any more so i am assuming that's full....I lost 14 lbs the 2 weeks pre-op and 10 in the 3 weeks post-op...I'm not blowing the scales up like a lot of folks around here but am steady at 3 pounds a week.... I'll take 3 pounds a week and not starving any day!!! Good luck!!!! (I've also went back to work part time on day 10 post op then full time on day 15....it's been a great recovery other than fatigue) HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 231.4- Interesting gastric bypass first weeks....
- Bypass patients Beware
I posted this somewhere else but gotta tell ya, my mirena destroyed my orgasms....loved the no period thing but my orgasm intensity went from delightful to meh, not worth the effort....they were super easy to have but just blah....gyn thought I was nuts but within days of having it removed I was back to the good old days! HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 231.4- I can't do this!
- Would peanut soup be too rich?
Interesting! What's in peanut soup???- Anyone have tips to help with grazing?
I'm a grazer too...not so bad right now since I'm just a few weeks post op but after I got my lap band I would keep small bags or bowls of healthy (mostly) snacks in appropriate quantities to eat throughout the day...when my bags were gone I had to quit....if I have the amount set out ahead of time and not just a kitchen full of stuff of a bag full of stuff I do much better.- Going out to eat!
Red lobster does have kids crab legs!!! But yeah, even my 8 year old usually orders off the adult menu cuz he doesn't want a cheeseburger or chicken nuggets....- Interesting gastric bypass first weeks....
I know I'm in the honeymoon phase but a few differences I've noticed during my first 3 1/2 weeks as a bypass patient. With my band I was ravenous on day 7 post-op, I'm post-op day 24 and haven't felt hungry once. What I do feel is queasy which I have eventually figured out is my sign I need something to eat...I take 3 or 4 bites and it's gone. I had my period last week and had no issues with food or liquids....when I had a band PMS week was almost strictly fluids cuz I'd be so right nothing else could get through. I've had a hellish cold all week and again eating and drinking fine, with my band I would have been sipping hot tea because nothing else would go down when my sinuses were nasty. So, yup, I'm liking this much better!!!- Fabulous February Post-Op's
The most common med is Actigall (I'm gallbladderless so don't have to worry about it). HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 231.4- torani

You're gonna have to bump up the calories at least a little dear.....I'm supposed to get 800-1000 when I'm at your stage. Your body gets stingy and holds on to everything if it thinks you're starving. HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 231.6- What kind of pants post op?
