How much did you lose before your fill? i have lost 21lb since July 18, 12lb on optifast and 9lb since the surgery for the last week i have lost nothing. Curious mind wants to know.

The Yukon health care wont cover the lap band surgery because they say there is no research on the lap band for more then 5 years, I wonder if i can prove them wrong?

When I was banded last week DR C told me about this He also said that no surgons will do the surgery through OHIP becouse the $600 does not cover the costs.

Hi there So tomorrow i get to start pureed, i was thinking about cane crab meat and shrimp does anyone have any recipe's? Im not crazy about tuna but i will do what ever i have to do. I like chicken if anyone as ideas maybe i will try chicken avacado salad please help

Thanks you guys, i feel great i don't feel sick at all. Just sometimes i feel like bps, I will try to drink slower from now on. It's weird how i can have 100g of yogurt and I'm satisfied. Grocery shopping is going to be interesting, thats for sure $$$$$$$ left over.

why do i feel and bps all the time?

When i talk to Dr C about optifast he told me everyone cheats. I cheated i had plain chicken breast twice, one chicken sandwich on brown, and popcorn twice, and he did the surgery as long as u do the best you can. He told me my liver was small, i was worry for nothing. Good luck on your big day its pretty soon right? andrea

Today is day four after surgery, and i can have optifast plus other low fat low calorie fluids. So all i have been eating is some jello, yogurt apple juice, chicken broth. And i have only lost 1lb well i guess its better then gaining. Can i have boost? I do feel like i have a air bubble inside of me it's a weird feeling what is that?

It's been so long since i have been waiting for the lap band. well i got it so what do i do now? what do i eat?. I'm on clear liquid until next thursday, then one week puree than regular food, I'm scare to eat.

Yes the toque was weird, but the blue robe was way to big i could of had 5 of me in there. We when shopping today at cotton ginny i got some tops only m/m and some large and some small, they were having a great sale. Looking foward to going home on saturday, not much to do here. ttyl

I got a card with sn#. and then its say maximum fill volume 10cc so is that good?? they scratch out the 14cc.

Im doing so good i started to pack our new clothing, im just trying to move a little bit. so i clean the room too. Should i be feeling so hungry, thats what hurt the most how hungry i am.

Well it's was good except waiting for a 1 1/2 in the waiting room. Not sure why they ask you to get there for one hours before, when you just sit there in the waiting room. I think i was out not even one hour after surgery, they kick me out pretty fast that was weird. I am really hungry right now, I wish i could have a optifast or anything. I don't feel like i got the band, I can only feel where the port is its the only place that is sore. They did 5 lap band today. Its a really busy clinic thats for sure.

Hi guys well im all done. Im feeling pretty good not tired we just got back to the hotel about 30mins ago. The nurse ask me if i just had surgery cause im doing so good. I should go to sleep but im not tired.

Well i got to meet Dr C today, really nice guy. And he show me a band wow. Anyways surgery is tomorrow at 2pm. bye

If your not losing weight fast on optisfast , does that mean your going to be a slow loser with the band?. I see some people who lose 20lb on optifast, just curious. thanks
