I live in Durango, Colorado and new to the lap band world. i guess I'm finally at the point where this procedure is something I will consider. Soon I will be graduating and entering the work field. I love being outside and with nature but the types of jobs I will be applying for are very physically demanding. Even though i am fat i can still get my ass up the mountain but just not as fast as everyone. Maybe this procedure will be my saving grace. Living as a fat girl and having times in my life where i have lost the weight and felt great, I've noticed that people treat you different and although it is sad and superficial this is our society. I am beautiful inside and i want to see this on the outside as well. So i guess this is the first step. I am nervous about the surgery and  I kinds feel like this is cheating but at the same time I am desperate to see some changes in my body size.
