  3. sorry! thats sounds awful :rolleyes2:
  4. I have always had the number 135 in my head beause when I was a pre teen my doctor told me at 5'6" thats a healthy, good looking weight. It seems to always say so on BMI calculators too. It's funny how we get these certain numbers stuck in their heads!
  5. this reminded me of how awesome "I can't believe it's not butter spray" is! It is zero points on WW and it totally gives you that wet feeling and butter taste. I cook my eggs in it even.
  6. my mother had a gastric bypass. She never drank more than a beer in one sitting. In the past year since she lost the weight she has gone to rehab for alcoholism 4 times. She definitely swapped. I also heard someone talking about becoming sexually addicted and cheating on their spouse but i tried to tune it out because it was so offensive.
  7. I used to have such bad munchies. I just eat a sugar free popsicle and then try to concentrate on something else like conversation or tv and enjoy how good I feel. I feel like eating is SO fun when youre high, but I remember that everything is! So just know that you cant eat and concentrate of other things.
  8. This is such a good point! I have been trying to explain why I was offended that my fiance told EVERYONE about my band. I am going to equate it to my antidepressants. Its a personal medical thing, some people need to know, but not everyone!
  9. I just clicked on someone else's and its a link that takes u to the site. Then, after u make one for you, paste it in the not html version in your signature under customize profile. It updates automatically when u update it at the ticker site.:blushing: oh and I will weigh in next week since I just started yesterday
  10. I have a cool program/ap on my iPhone. It logs your weight, goals, food, calories, and other nutrition stuff If you want. It is called "Lose it!" and it is FREEE!
  11. Mine was 2 weeks prior to surgery but I started early. Only Clear Liquids and 60 grams of Protein shake made with Water each day. broth, sf popsicles, tomato juice, clamato juice, water, Jello, crystal light were the only other options. It was awful, it made me cry a lot, I was always hungry. I heated up the tomato juice and i could pretend it was kind of like soup. I am on the same diet 4 weeks post op. But I switched to full liquids this week because I don't really believe in my doctor's no dairy for the rest of your life policy. My dietitian said he only does it because people take everything too far and it would lead to ice cream shakes every day in his eyes.
  12. I was pretty spaced out on pain killers the whole first week so I was sleeping and didn't really notice my diet for the first maybe 5 days. Now I am on full liquids and I want real food so bad, but it seems easier when you are healing because it gets better every day.
  13. I will play! I want to lose... 15!
  14. Thanks so much I decided to just have Clear Liquids and wait it out. In the end I figured out I was moving too fast and needed to stick to full liquids. In the end, I am pretty sure I was "stuck" but I didnt know it. :blushing:
  15. I have seen some peoples show through, some say it doesn't show. I figure the scars are a give away and its no secret if im in a bathing suit anyway
  16. yeah i think sometimes people get so preachy, but they really are just trying to help. :blushing:
  17. the hard thing was being on a diet during the holidays. It is so much easier now that the new year has started! It seems like everyone is trying to get into shape.
  18. maybe stick to slear liquids til you figure it out
  19. I was told to leave them on! they were really strong on that. They said if they start to hang or curl up to cut the edges off
  20. im on post op liquid and after 3 weeks this has not gotten that much easier except i know its over soon. 3 more weeks. I mourn food a lot
  21. I was more afraid if it was a sign of something else. I don't want to just cure the symptom and not the problem. Do you think it just heartburn and no big deal?
  22. great advice, but don't drink tea of coffee unless it is caffeine free~ otherwise, it is an appetite stimulant and a diuretic. My advice would be to keep on your protein! your muscles will help you burn more fat if you feed them instead of eating themselves
  23. HI! Welcome!:smile2:
  24. any advice at all would be appreciated!:smile2:
