  2. Hey if it is then Im pathetic with ya....
  3. Pattygirl.....I had wanted one for years but i was too embarrassed they are painful mainly when they go over bone and if u do color the shading. Mine start over my shoulder blade and run down to my lower back. But i tell u what as i laid there on that table It was worth the pain i wasnt embarrassed i felt renewed....It was my gift to myself. Good luck ladies ya'll will be getting ur tatoos i'd love to see pics of them when u do.
  4. lol I love it!!!! I got tattoos also once i felt comfortable being half naked if front of a stranger. I got five butterflies down my back representing new life. And one smack dab on my buttcheek just for fun. A USDA CHOICE MEAT STAMP. LMBO.... Have fun with it you deserve it.
  5. Oh yeah i get reminded every now and then more if i get to the point where I'm hungry. I find what helps me is to graise between meals, for you that wont help yet cuz of the stage your at but later down the road. i usually do a handful of nuts or raisins, or apple slices without the peel with a little peanut butter. This helps me so I dont scarf down my meals.
  6. I agree with many on here. You need to have a real heart to heart with her. Those that have never had an issue with their weight, have a hard time understanding its not as easy as exercise and eat less. If that were the case no one would be fat. You need to tell her your doing this for you, this is a tool that will help you succeed. Talk to her if yo u dont talk you will never truely know what her issue is with the procedure. Maybe its fear, insecurities u wont know. You do need a good support system at home, i hope u can work through this so that supportive person is her. Good luck
  7. Lol....Im the same way Im now a lights on everything off im more confident now and dont mind if my hubby sees me we have an awesome time together
  8. FLORIDAYS U LOOK AMAZING!
  9. You know Whats awesome my husband is finding it easier to shop for me too. i think sometimes hes having more fun with my new body. Im like a new toy so he finds all kinds of stuff for me to wear.....lol
  10. I remember hating to go shopping. Nothing ever fit right and just cause i was a big girl didnt mean i was old. i hated the lights in the dressing room cuz i would sweat so bad. I could never find anything and i would go home depressed. well it is so nice to just pick up something and not to have to even try it on, cuz i know it will fit. i love that i can find stuff so much cheaper too. Now my only problem is keeping my teenage daughters out of my closet. i actually luv shopping now my pocket book may not agree but it is so worth it!
  11. thank you.......taking it one day at a time we will win this battle...
  12. Congrats, keep it up u will hit that goal;-)
  13. I was a big girl for a long time. I always had to let my personality lead the way. I was never noticed for the beautiful person I was trapped in a world where being a big person isnt whats attractive. Even though I was a big girl I was never a slob, I want to say that even though the weight that held me back is gone, I am still the same beautiful person I was before. Funny how now Im noticed walking down the halls, walking into a grocery store, or having a drink with the girls. As much as people will say they are not judgemental towards overweight people, have never been on the heavy side of the scale. Having been on both sides now I see the difference how I'm treated what doors have been opened to me peronally and professionally. There are no words that can describe the feeling of no longer being the wallflower. I am no longer sitting on the sideline watching my life pass me by.

Ive lost 160 lbs. and I thought I was gonna be a saggy mess. The only work i need is a boob job not that i need it i want it i miss my beautiful full breast. Funny thing about breast they're nothing but fat and were the first to go.:-(....What I think helps is how slow or how fast u lose ur weight. My has been slow and steady over the last three years giving me time to work on building muscle. Drink plenty of water and work closely with your doctor to monitor your progress. Your young your skin will bounce back.

I wouldnt make a big deal about it she may be a little embarrassed about it. My husband and I have plenty of toys we have several that we use together. If she is like me when i use them alone Im still thinking of my husband theres still nothing better than him. i would say why not u go find a toy to surprise her for ur next session there are some great ones that u can wear that stimulate u and her at the sametime. nothing wrong with just spicing it up a little. Good luck;-)
  16. Way to go and all i have to say is keep doing it. It gets even better as the weight comes off and then its nice to be able to watch him do it...lol for me that is the best part like u i was uncomfortable especially cause i couldnt tell if he could breathe down there now nothing is in the way just have fun!!!!!
  17. Its ok u are not the first and u sure wont be the last. As u learn ur new found friend u will learn what works and what Doesnt u will find urself loving food u would have never touched before. For me dark meat chicken its not so dry and Fish... I wouldnt have gone near it before now i luv it! Remeber to chew and when u think ur done chew some more...lol it gets better i promise.
  18. well said mis73.........it get easier with time
  19. All i got to say is have fun it only gets better!!!!!
  20. Awe man that sucks sorry hope she doesnt hang around too long.
  21. take this time to practice. small bites, put ur fork down hands in ur lap and chew chew chew. Also for me the hardest thing was not drinking with my meals. So practice, practice, practice.
  22. i was told no food 4 hours before a fill and no liquids 1 hour before. i would be starving by the time. I would do my fills during my lunch hour. It was the perfect lunch, i'd be hungry right before and fine the min id jump off the table.
  23. I was honest with my doctor about my portions and time between meals u may be ready for a fill. As time goes u will learn to pay attention to ur body know what u can and cant have. I find that eating out has gotten easier as time has gone by. I eat pretty much what i want with the exception of like breads so instead of burgers i have lettuce wraps bake potato instead of French fries. I eat steak, ribs, fish, chicken i usually fill up on my proteins. I take home what i dont finish and no one knows the difference. in the begining i downloaded the menu, so i could get an idea of what i know i can eat. everyone is different. I have a 10cc band and its at 7cc and i have been like this for two years ive adjusted my eating habits. I eat about 8 oz of food.
  24. Wow, banded at 35, such a great age!!!!! I got banded at 35, i went in having ur same fears, i think we all do. When ur fat for so long, and have failed though u have tried, u cant help but fear that this would be another let down. But let me tell you, the band is an awesome tool. I was tired of being invisible, of being the fat friend that made others look hot. We r all here for you and once u start seeing and feeling the results, i cant even begin to tell u how amazing it feels to no longer be invisible. To run, and play and keep up and even out run ur children. Get ready for ur life to change sweetheart! Good luck!
  25. lol...get it girl, why dont u just take control, at least like that u know u wont hurt urself.
