Did i see that right you lost a total of 50 lbs in a little over a month? or is the date wrong, I my self went to have the surgery last october to find a hernia and denied :rolleyes had hernia opt and now she still wont do it, well i dont want her to if she is that unsure of herself, so now waiting on another doc who might do it or bariatric, but lap band i would think is better for me because i need to loose about 75lbs :embarassed: im just so tired of the run around .

now i love watching the emergency er shows and operations on the health cannel but to watch my own i dont think i could lol ewwwwwww , are you sure telly you did not feel a thing lol:second: :hail: you way above us lol you go girl

well if i was married to ozzie ozborne i would be sick in head too lol , no wonder the poor woman is loosing it, she should not of had the surgery, said she has staple and then lap band see what money will do for you, just bypass your real health problems and do it all no matter what the out come

Hi all , just wanted to update I finally found doc close by for psyc consult have apt tues, got cardio on fri, and still waiting for cat scan, sometimes I just want to give up , but i read your struggles and how great your doing, and say I can do this , but please someone tell me why it takes so dam long for the insurance to give permission, its like they are waiting for you to say the hell with it with all the pre test and trials , but im not giving in, I just hope after next week they give me a date soon. How long does it take usually to find out after all test results are in can any one answer that?:smow: no ciggs for a week now doing great with that too.

well for some of you its a breathalyzer test to be done for smoking and some its urine our doc does blood YIKES I GOT TO STOP NOW but i have already put them down to 2 a day thats ciggs not packs so now i puting all down . and i must say tummy tucks looks good wonder how much its here in md:cry

geesh , i appreciate your prayers , the herinia is form so many opertions on stomach area it is wearing and has a size of a baseball that pouches out but stomach under right breast is size of football and about 1" bigger thank left side i thought that was just from the scaring where they cut me open 4 times on stomach does not hurt i think its a insisional hernia, but i just got apt for cardiac doc next fri and waiting on phyc to call back and doc for apt for cat scan and then i get blood work done so i will know with in a few weeks i guess, my doc put on paper of referal for bariatric surgery for me (quote ) This is to certify that Ms Smith is under my medical care. She has hyuperlipidemia and worsening type 2 diabeties. she has failed a number of diest and has tried to lose weight unsuccessfully over the past frew years, she has asthma and memorrioids tthat have been exacerbated by her condition as well, while her blood pressure is currentyl controlled, i do not expect her other conditions to improve without some weight loss. i think that she is a good candidate to undergo bariatric surgery. ( end quote) now with him saying that i i have been with him for a few years trying to loose weight will that be sufficent enough for the six months ? i am so depressed, :help:

:faint: Well i saw the doc today, and i find out i have a hernia in stomach area , she is debating on even doing surgery now and is though thinking of doing them both at same time too, she said she needs to think on it. now i got to go get a cat scan of tummy, see a heart doc, and phyciatrist of course, my doc i see him on monday for my letter. and she saying insurance saying 6 month diet from doc , insuracne told me they did not need that i am now at stage of giving up hope , just a big merrygo round :deadhorse:

you lost 69 lbs in 4 months is that possible

:faint: I have doc apt for the 11th , guess i will find out then when i get surgery hopefully. Dr.Li Sinai hosptial Balt.Md pre surg weight 213 their weight for me 113 my weight goal 125 will i get the apt for surgery on day i go to doc?:nervous :faint:

hi i have already lost 12 lbs pre surgery , but it was because i just had a hemroid surgery and was sick for two weeks from medicine, but i refuse to buy clothes untill i find out when my surgery date is and then i am going to the thrift stores as not to pay for a lot of clothes when i wont be wearing them long, just and ideal try the thrift and good will stores dont be worried of who sees ya in them lol by the time you loose your weight, you wont care who saw you SAVE MONEY :clap2:

Hi question? does having your aptointments fro doc and pre op seminar and the nutri, mean they have already been acepted for payment from my insurance? it said it would cover it , im just wondering if they have already, figured the doc would not make apt if not what do you think?

hi it would seem you already have your 6 months for your docs apts , weight watchers has to give you your information, they can not refuse you if you have a record of when you started them or receipts thats a plus and you said your doc himself knows you been fighting this , talk to him about it because he will need to give you a statement to take to your lb doctor as well:nervous

im back to work for dont know how long today but im here from hemmi op , now i got 4 to 6 weeks left before surgery on lap band getting nervous hope it dont hurt as bad as the hemmi does:faint: :target:does it?

that is not what i want lol i do the lap band thanks one more question will i need tummy tuck , i was going for that before i found out insurance paid for the lap band, or so they said i find out on the 11th i figured i would loose my weight first:faint: :think i really hate my body now

ok what is that im getting lap band what is the difference, and just how fast will i loose my weight? i am 231 and only 5'2 diabetic, knee problems, high risk heart disease so yes insurance is covering, i really dont want gastrick bypass , tell me of this option please . :cry :help:

I have been chatting with one of my buddies on here donna and she had her surgery yesterday, said she is just a little sore but doing ok, i am anxious of what happens next.
