I am getting closer to my surgery each day. I have so much to do to get my house ready for me being off my feet for a while. Does anyone know how long before I can drive and go back to exercising???

My husband has told me that he is happy that I am doing something to better my health, but he's afraid I might want someone else after the weight is gone. I tired to reassure him this will not happen. We have been married for 33 years.

I am so glad to finally hear someone say that are doing good and have little pain. This has been worrying me. I have a high threshold for pain, but I have a fear that this is going to get me down. I will have my surgery on Nov. 17th and will be off work for 2 weeks. How soon after surgery did you start walking on your treadmill?
I can't wait. I am so excited, but also a little scared. Mostly I just want to get it over with.. Any advice out there? I go for a pre surgery visit on November 11th. No one has said anything about a pre-surgery diet, for that I am thankful:thumbup:.
