I think I wasmore afraid on the unknown. One woman had a fill the day before and was fine then the next day could not keep down water ! Why does that happen ? That scared me as I was flying back the same day adn could not return until April 18th. I would have loved to stay another night in Toronto. If I would miss work the next day I would have stayed the whole day !

Well I survived the first fill, It really was not bad at all ! I was given 5cc. I was not able to keep down the water sooooo they took out 1cc. Much better. The taking out was much more painful then the putting in ! My next apt is in two weeks

My apt is tomorrow , first fill, what can I expect ? I am going to TLBC. I am a little scared.

I have not heard anything, but I really have not been on this site much with my trip to Egypt and our show. I really feel out of the loop ! I have a lot of reading to catch up with you guys

Because I had an infection , was on two rounds of meds, and soooo badly want this to work, I was stressing seeing this one inch stitch stick out of my body. We were in cairo at the time and my dance teacher said "oh we should go to a doctor" I had no intension of doing that until It was really recessary. I wasited until I was back in Toronto. I did not even know that iIhad a stitch to come out ! :omg:

Well I never really had a follow up. They called to see how things were going and then a day later I went back to Thunder bay. They did call me at home to see how things were going. On my way back from Egypt I stopped at the clinic to show them my stitch. They took it out. I do not have my first fill until Tuesday. Very excited about that ! What is so weird is that I can feel it !

Cool, If you have nothing to do Staurday march 31 , come to the Finlandia Hall and see our show. Let me know and I will leave 2 tickets at the door for you. My first fill is coming up at TLBC. They told me it is a two hour apt. What should I expect ? Does it hurt ? Who does it? I had a stitch poking out, what is with that ? I did not even know that I had any stitches !

Congrats on your decision Dave, The time will come so fast and soon you will be on the other side. I was banded at TLBC , they were great !

Well I am back ! I had the most amazing time. Words can not express the emotions I have about Egypt ! I will go back.

I am a little early, but I want to make sure that I get in on the action before I leave on my trip. My March goal is 10lbs Let's hear it for 220lbs

I will be in Toronto on Sat the 24th. We leave that day on our trip. Where is Whiby ? I am sure that I would not be able to come but maybe another time .

Well two days to Egypt and I gave made my Feb goal of ten pounds !

Hey Robyn that will be cool ! This week is crazy for me with dance practice every night, We have a show at the Finlandia club on march 31 ) as well as trying to get all the last minuite things donefor our trip. I have not even been on this site all weekend, and I as usually on twice a day ! Have a great day !

Well it is looking better, it gets a little sore atn the end of the day. It is sooooo weird that I can feel feel something under the skin . It is about 2 inches long from the incision.

where do you go for fills in Nova Scotia ?

It has been two weeks today since I was banded. And I must say it has not been that bad. Th gas in the beginning just about killed me. It was the worst the first two nights. The infection seems to be doing well, so all is good. I must say that I can't believe that I actually got the band ! Holy cow, I will never be 250lbs again ! I guess it will feel a little more real for me when my weight starts going down. I am excited !

I was the same way. I had no problem losing 50 and even 85 lbs, but soon after boom I would have gained it all back and more. Two years ago I was all set to get the band then I joined weight watchers and lost 50lbs. I thought that i could lose the rest on my own HA. Gained it all back . So In Jan I made the apt and had the surgery two weeks later. I had to pay, but seeing everyone with their success, I wanted it bad. I am so glad I did. Even though I had only lost a little so far, I fell happy.

How are you feeling today ? Any better ?
