  1. Ok really I call BS on the womans food! No way 6 months out that that is her daily food intake!
  2. Yea her food portions were laughable! Maybe they were showing how "good bandsrers" eat. Lmao I would sstarve on her diet!
  3. Elfiepoo!? Negative? Lol She's the go to person for advice.
  4. Most likely the port. Mine is to tthe left of my belly button. When I lay down I can feel it. Rest easy!
  5. I can't tolerate big fills. I have seen some people on here that get 5 cc in one fill! That would hurt me! The first time I went in for a fill she put in 2 cc and I took a drink of Water instantly it had to come back up. My nurse figured out pretty quick that I can only do little bumps. It took going every 4 weeks for 8 months before I had any restriction. I am a year and a half out and have 7 cc in my band. I think you should talk to them and see if maybe you should get filled a little at a time. I hope you get it figured out.
  6. this has been going on a year and you haven't told your doctor?!!! I don't want to make you feel any worse but wth were you thinking? Of course you need to tell him how long this has been going. What if you have messed up your esophagus or your band. You need to tell him just to make sure your alright. You know throwing up on a regular basis with the band is a bad thing. Or at least you should. I hope it all turns out good for you, but you really need to tell your doc.

  8. Yeah I was at the end of mine. Shouldn't be a problem just let them know and they should put a pad under you for surgery. No tampons though.
  9. Sometimes if your band is to tight it can cause heart burn.
  10. I'm sure he knows what he is doing.........but I don't know about getting a fill or the needle inserted in or around my sternum. (shivers thinking about that) Maybe it's not that bad.

  18. So I failed to mention that my daughter has to try 2 new things on weekends. Thats our deal usually she says she doesn't like it and we move on. Today at the grocery store she picked out mini corndogs. ( I know not the best choice, but she has never even tried one before!) We get home and my husband start preheating the oven and notices that they are veggie corn dogs! Duh duh duh! She loved em! Thats fine with me at least I can ad something new to her menu! Lol
