  4. Hi Everyone, I am hoping for some tips on what I can eat at the Disneyworld parks over the thanksgiving week. I will be 5+ weeks post op at that time, so according to my docs eating requirements, I will be on "soft foods". I am on mushies now and doing great! Thanks for your help.
  5. Thanks Monique Any others have any advice? Thanks!
  6. I am 5 days post op and am on 2 weeks of full liquids diet. I was eating abut 1/4 Cup cream of potato Soup (not too hot and not too thick)...maybe I ate too fast or maybe the soup was too spicy....but all of a sudden I got a weird feeling - not sure how to describe it...kind of tingly all over. So I quit eating immediately and then a slight pain/pressure has begun between my shoulder blades...kinda the middle of my back.... What just happened? Was this a mini-PB situation? I haven't thrown up or anything, just still feeling tingly/weird/pain in middle of back about 1.5 hrs later. I am staying upright just in case the gravity can help the situation. Help!! What just happened? I will call my surgeon in the AM.
  7. Good luck! I am being banded tomorrow too!!!
  8. Awesome blogs everyone! My blog is in my signature below. Check it out!

  18. Hey RN, Yep, been to the support groups...I think we met at one of them? I also follow the bandsters blogs under my cat's user profile, Pemberley. How are you doing a few weeks post-op?
  19. Hi! I'm in Medford getting banded at Southern Oregon Bariatric Center by Dr. Castillo on 10/21/09!
  20. Hi Everyone, I will be banded in mid Oct...and I'm self pay... The "global price" includes all services/surgery/hospital stay/etc. This includes 3 nights in the hospital if I want/need it. There is no refund if I stay less than the 3 nights. So the question is...did any of you leave same day or next day from surgery and wish you had stayed longer in the hospital? I don't sleep well in the hospital (who does?), but I like the idea of having IV meds handy just in case as well as the nursing staff for the extra assistance/care. Thanks for the advice!
