My Dr. created a shake with Medagentix...it's called Bariatriax Essentials....and it's wonderful!!!...little spendy at $57.00 per container.....if anyone wants the info let me know!

Hey guys and gals...I am 4 short days away from my procedure...I am excited...but cautious....did you ever wonder if you would be successful with the lap band??...did you ever feel that you may fail at this too??....did you have a hard time "staying on plan...PRE-OP?".... I am feeling all of these....it seems as "loosers" we have tried every diet and "lifestyle change" out there...at least I have..... Please tell me this is relatively normal...and that I CAN be successful!!!.... Thanks All!! Aileen:confused:

That's just it...the two doing it...ARE NOT the skinny ones!...They are heavy themselves....my thin friends are estatic for me!!!

So, I told my coworkers about my decision to have the lap band...the ones I thought would support me the most have been making jabs like "I brought in cupcakes today,they're really good. Can you just eat the frosting?"..."Just one won't hurt"...and constant remark like "how was your shake?"....and at Halloween the one gal even came and ate a candy bar in front of me and said "ummm...doesn't this look good?...do you miss it?" Seriously...I don't even have the band until 9-18-2009....what gives???:thumbup:

Hey I hear ya sister!!! *laughs*...my surgery isen't until the 18th...and I've been having a hard time pulling it together!!...It's hard when you have a family to cook for. I do as well!...I guess there is no time like the present to start them on a healthier path as well!!!

Okay, so i am scheduled for surgery on the 18th of November...pre op on the 5th...if I'm not down the 5-10% do you suppose they will still do the surgery???....I may even be up a pound or 2....can't seem to get my poop in a group!!!....HELP!!!!!!:Yawn:

We are just getting revved up for the evening here!...I will take my boys out trick-or-treating...good exercise...and then we will come home and pass out candy!...I bought fruity candy I don't like (nerds,sweet tarts, etc)...I KNOW the boys will get chocolate...and I will try my best to keep away!!!:Yawn:....I hate the stuff! I had mine on Thursday...I work in the health care field so I was eligible right away....initially I didn't want the vaccine as I felt in had not been researched enough...then one of our Dr's talked me into it.

What an inspiration you are!...CONGRATULATIONS!!!...I'm sure your children are happy to have an active,healthy dad!...and congrats on setting your wedding date!!!!...Wishing you continued success!!!

Time to be Free~You are very blessed to have a DH (most of the time anyway):biggrin:Mine is the same way! *laughs*....how great of your parents to help you out!...Mine would have done the same if need be!.... I have about 120-130 to loose!...very daunting if you think too much about it!.... so I'm trying to NOT fosus on the numbers but rather the journey and relearning to appreciate the "simple" things in life!...We can do this!! nat@the beach~ I'm sure the 6 month wait is frusturating!...Initially I was denied by insurace because I was missing a weight on my Dr. notes. I was so disheartened!...I actually scheduled my surgery in Mexico because I was self pay!...Then...in the matter of 2 days I decided I pay for insurance...I would NOT let them say no....I got medical records from 2004...and in less than 4 hours I was APPROVED!....good things will come for you!...just do what you need to do for the next 6 months!!!!...and Keep US POSTED!!!:Yawn: Potatie~ YOU'RE THE BEST!!! :laugh:
