Congrats on ur success!! i too had the lap band, two years ago and my body rejected it!! it was taken out 5 weeks after it was put in... well here i am 8weeks out of being sleeved and couldnt be happier...weighed almost the same as you starting all this and am between 14s and 12s!!!! yea for us!!

LOL feel like im reading my own NSV"s!! i just realized the towel thing on sat!! and yesterday i bought my first size 12 levis!! yea hit 198 yresterday!! so happy for you too:)

I am 4 weeks out and would like to start taking my medication in pill from again...like a big girl! lol i want to take my omeprozole and wellbutrin...think its been long enough? totally forgot to ask the doc at my follow up appt today thanks tracy

im coming up on three weeks too and have almost the same thing going on, lost 25 post op and 20 since surg...also think i feel like i have been grazing a little toooo much i am trying to walk some everyday hope that will help.just wanted to let you know your not alone at three weeks

good idea...i need to do that i put cream cheese on them but that slid down way toooo easy!!!

my sister was not on board with my decsion either in fact when it came down to it i didnt even tell her my exact surgery day until a fwe days before. i didnt want to hear the judgement. i believe this is why is see alot of plp keep their surgerys quiet for thesame reason...not to feel judjes even by our sisters sorry your going thru this but i know this is the best decsion i have made i am three weeks out and down 20 pounds more,,,love my sleeve

Ok so thought i would try chewing up a pita chip and see how it went down...well the answer is way too easy!! so i had another and another...at least with the sleeve i had to stop or i fear it wld have been like pre surg i really need to get back to work tooo much time to rumage around the kitchen!! im three weeks out and only have a twinge or two of pain where they took out the drain.

so doin super after surgery until yesterday when they took my jp drain out!! i swear my guts came with it!! bad pain in line of removal..help anyone else had this issue?????

im one week out also and im am soo excited it to hav elost 15 pounds! i know its all cause im half starving but i dont care!! im at 208 and getting hella close to onderland!! i started my perop at 243!!! congrats to the both of us!!! tracy

so two days till surgery and my nerves are getting the best of me! any one out there only have to do clear liquids the day before? i did a pre op diet over the last three months and lost 24 pounds! went for my pre op on friday and all he said was clear liquid the day before and obviosly nothing after midnight on monday. thanks in advance for your thought on the clear liquid thing

im having surgery tuesday and have all the same fears...will i fail at this too? then what? i have lost 24 pounds pre op so doc says thats a good indicator i will do well for the future...just have to take an educated leap of faith!! congrates on the weight loss

just say no for a few weeks!! lol u know how much men appriciate that! ya it sounds like orthostatic hypertention aka gettin up too fast ur blood pressure bottoms out ....

i had the band done almost two years ago and my body rejected it:( i am close to being approved for the sleeve and i too kept alot of this too myself until recently...my husband is also fearfull nervous and some times can come off sounding harsh...give ur hubby some time but as others have said dont give up on your dream:)

gas gas gas is all i can say i am 4 weeks post op and the 1st 5 days i though i wld just dye! good news! it does go away! its just from the surgery... gas ex wony help cause its in ur chest cavity... it will subside promise tracy
