1. Welcome to twoterville Indianlight!!! Good for you!!! And yes, we are all doing great!!!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
2. My restriction is contantly changing. Some days I feel like I can eat pretty much anything. Other days, I need to stick with mainly soft foods. It's weird, but that's the way our bodies work, I suppose.
3. Trish, give it a few days before you decide to get an unfill. Mine felt much tighter in the beginning. Some days, its actually tighter than others, even now.
4. I personally, would stick to water or crystal light. I drink a lot of Fruit 2 0 for a change instead of drinking just plain water. I noticed a huge difference in the way I look and feel when I get my 64 ounces in daily. You should really try to bump up your intake of water.
5. It's amazing to see how much food has GROWN! Muffins never used to be that huge!! I guess we all grew with the food! LOL!! Thanks for the link.
6. ***down 35 pounds so far!***

8. Indianlight, Good idea not to buy the scale!! I'm completely obsessed with mine. And no matter how many times I say I will only weigh myself twice a week...I'm on that sucker every morning!! So strange since prior to surgery, I wouldn't get on a scale if my life depended on it!!
9. It truly amazes me that what starts out as a news report blows up into debate about our society. Didn't anyone ever learn to "agree to disagree" and move on? Some opinions cannot be changed. So....how bout that Sharon Osbourne? Wonder what the "whole" story is?
10. Congrats on your NSV's!!! I have step-monsters too. I try not to let them get to me anymore.
11. Glad you hear you're doing well Robin. Take care of yourself.
12. Spunky, I dont think any of us post our weight loss as part of some competition. We're excited and proud of it. Most of us have not experienced such postitive results before. We're all here to support one another. There is no need to feel pressure. This will work.
13. Well, let's see. I started the challenge at 303. So 303 minus my current weight of 285.5 is....17.5 pounds!! Woo Hoo!! I like that...LOL!!
14. Don't believe everything in the press. Celebrities are always misquoted. I doubt she was under the impression that it had to be removed.
15. Bug, you may need another fill. It took me two to get any restriction. Kiddies, I'm 1/2 pound away from my October goal. Yay!!

17. JOSETTE!!! Stop eating pasta and get your butt in gear!!!!! NOW!!! How was that? Hope it helped. I can only imagine how that anniversary could feel.

19. Osbourne Plans to Remove Gastric Band By Associated Press 2 hours agoUPDATED 1 HOUR 36 MINUTES AGO NEW YORK - Sharon Osbourne says she plans to remove a gastric band that helped her lose 125 pounds and instead rely on psychotherapy to cope with her weight issues. "I have to figure out why I do what I do to myself," the 54-year-old wife/manager of rocker Ozzy Osbourne says in an interview in People magazine's Oct. 30 issue. "I think I have some sort of self-destruction button." Osbourne, who has written a memoir, "Sharon Osbourne Extreme," had surgery for the gastric band in 1999 and plans to shed it in December (when she returns to the U.S. from Britain), she says. She packed on 15 pounds this year "from overeating," she says, even though the band limits what she can digest. "I keep trying to eat more and more ... I'm a pig," says Osbourne, who has indulged in "chocolate, French fries and junk food" instead of sticking to the nutritious diet required of gastric-band patients. What happens when she eats too much? "You throw up...then you eat more," she says. Osbourne, who starred with her bizarre-yet-loving clan in MTV's "The Osbournes," is being cheered on by her three children: Aimee, 23, Kelly, 21, and Jack, 20. "My kids, their whole life, have seen me struggle with weight," she says. "They say, `Now you need to spend time on your head.'"
20. Houstongirl1, that is totally normal. It took me a good month before I could bend over long enough to scrub the tub. (it started to look pretty bad too. LOL) Jamie, I have allergies too. They sell Benadryl is dissolvable strips. Like the Listerine strips. Be forwarned...they taste bloody awful!!
21. Since I had my second fill, I've had to say goodbye to all pasta, rice and breads. Of course, I was really stubborn about it and had to learn through a few PB's. LOL!!! Everyone is different, so we all have to learn by trial and error.
22. So good to hear this. I'm not throwing away my pre-preganancy shoes!!! LOL!!
23. My doc said it was okay to start ab exercise...but I'm avoiding it. LOL!! I really hate ab work. I'm using the treadmill 4-5 times a week and using hand weights so I don't have flabby arms. I guess I'm going to have to give in and do the ab exercise.
24. Congrats Koala!!! :high5:    :bump2: :thumb: :banana :bounce: :) :becky: :laugh :wow2:  :) :peace: :clap2: BTW, that was your "HAPPY PARADE"
25. GE Mom...I seem to remember the opposite happening when I was gaining weight. As I gained, my pants became shorter. Jamie, I'm so excited for you and can't wait to see your pictures.
